The MOREPIXX? International Fetish Photography

And the winners are …

Boner World was again this year a proud sponsor of this important photography event.

“This year I had the honour of being one of the seven jurors for the competition. This was for the first round that that concluded January. We were all sent the submissions and had to choose our top fifteen from the multitudes of entries.  Each photo had no photographer’s name or information other than the title of the photo. It was a difficult task as there were so many different images to choose from. I was also surprised at the quality and many various fetish families that were represented in this year’s submissions.  I want to personally thank all of this 2020’s entries for your hard work and dedication to the fetish photography genre. Keep up the amazing work as you are all winners.”  – GT, chief editor of Boner World Magazine

The first prize winner

The coveted first prize as well as the Sly Hands Memorial Award winner is Arjan Spannenburg of the Netherlands for his work titled “Reciprocation”.

The photography of Arjan Spannenburg centers around the search for identity and self-expression. Arjan’s powerful black and white compositions portray young men on the threshold of adulthood. The result is fragile, loving portraits of males lost in their own thoughts. At the same time, the subjects seem to have a strong need to communicate with the outside world, in search of support, understanding, and love. Sometimes this search results in raw images, but these are never intended to shock or provoke. Rather, these photographs invite the viewer to reflect on the relationship between vulnerability and self-expression. Although he takes his own coming of age as an autobiographical starting point, his work transcends both his own personal story and that of the men he portrays. The photographs represent universal feelings of loneliness, vulnerability, and insecurity, while capturing the poetic beauty of adolescence.

Second prize for 2020

The second prize goes to Holger Becker of Germany for his entry “Slience”.

Holger Becker is a photographer and rigger located in central Germany.  In cooperation with “Art by Reraizure” he has created Shibari artwork for over three years now. Shibari provides him new inspiration, combining sensuality, rope technique and expression more into something new, which he is then able to catch with his camera.

Third prize for 2020

Third prize went to Hexy Joe  fro his entry “Night in Milan”.

He is an Italian amateur photographer  who is fairly new into fetish scene. With his Italian friends he decided to shoot some pics around their city – Milan – and to show what the night can bring.

More about MOREPIXX?

These MOREPIXX? winners were selected in a three part process. First round was by a jury of professionals in the field who had the task of narrowing the number down to the fifteen finalists. Then the public was invited to cast their votes from these online and the final segment was by voting in person at the Darklands event in Antwerp, Belgium. The winners were announced on Sunday the 8th of March.

A big thank you goes out to MOREPIXX? organiser Taco Smit for the countless hour of dedicated work to make this important competition happen each year.

Congratulations to the winners and all who participated in their competition for 2020.
